Alexia is currently living with her grandmother because her mother is unable to care for her. Unfortunately, due to financial struggles, Alexia has faced some bullying at school, with classmates making comments about her clothes and shoes and calling her names. A new pair of shoes would significantly boost Alexia's confidence and might even help to silence the bullies. This simple change would mean so much to her and greatly improve her experience at school. She dreams of walking into the classroom with her head held high, feeling proud of her appearance and no longer worrying about what others think.
