Genevieve is facing a challenging situation as her work hours have been reduced due to the holiday season, putting her at risk for food insecurity. This sudden change in her income leaves her concerned about how to put meals on the table in the coming days. A financial boost would provide much-needed relief, allowing her to sustain herself through the next week until she receives her next paycheck.
Genevieve is 22 years old and lives in OR
Genevieve entered foster care when she was a preteen and aged out of the system after many foster home placements and much tumultuousness. Despite so much change, Genevieve persevered, working and attending college for several semesters as a young adult. Genevieve is currently taking a break from her schooling to stabilize in a new city, where she feels like she will be safer and there will be more work opportunities.
