Jackson really hopes for a big bag of sour candy because it helps him manage his ADHD, sensory processing challenges, and anxiety. The strong sour flavor distracts him from whatever is bothering him at the moment, which makes it easier for him to regain focus and get back on track. He often turns to this candy as a way to cope with difficult thoughts from his past.
Jackson is 19 years old and lives in NC
Jackson is a vivid outdoorsy type of boy. He loves to go fishing, hunting, hiking, bird watching, and just about anything else you can do in the woods or at a stream or river. He also likes to have fun with the neighbor's kids, enjoys church, and likes to watch hunting and fishing shows on TV. Jackson is in therapeutic foster care and has had a very hard year. He has had several moves and things just don't get easy for him.
