Amir has been struggling with acne, which has hurt his self-esteem and made him reluctant to go to school. It seems the water at his foster home might be part of the problem. We’re excited about a special showerhead with a filter that his dermatologist recommended. She believes it can help Amir without medication. We can't wait for him to try it and hopefully see improvements in his skin!
Amir is 15 years old and lives in PA
Amir is an amazing kid! He works hard in school. He and his brothers have been in care for a while. They have bounced back and forth between kinship placements and reunification attempts. Amir and hs brothers have moved in with a non-relative but adoptive family. They are enjoying being regular kids. Amir loves to walk to the local playground and play basketball with neighborhood friends
