Cara is juggling the demands of work and school while trying to build a stable and fulfilling life for herself. As she works toward becoming a registered nurse, she's facing financial struggles that make it tough to afford basic necessities like warm clothing. A gift card to Target would really help her get the clothes she needs to stay comfortable and focused during her hectic days.
Cara is 31 years old and lives in SC
Cara is a resilient young woman who aged out of foster care at 18. Despite experiencing homelessness, she has fought for custody of her brother and is currently working as a waitress while studying to become a registered nurse. After the tragic loss of her sister in a car accident last year, Cara dreams of starting a program in South Carolina to support foster youth. An artist and aspiring author, she is writing a book about her journey to achieve her goals and give back to others.
