Kris has expressed a desire to go shopping. He shared that he feels different from his classmates because he doesn't have the same clothing as they do; all of his clothes are second-hand. Kris wishes to have the opportunity to buy his own clothes. This experience would allow him to enjoy normal teenage activities, such as shopping.
Kris is 15 years old and lives in NC
Kris is an incredible young man who has faced significant challenges in his life. He entered foster care due to his mother's struggles with drug abuse and mental health issues. Despite these difficulties, Kris has shown remarkable resilience. Since coming into custody, he has consistently made the AB honor roll. Recently, his parental rights were terminated, granting him the opportunity for adoption. Kris is excited about being eligible for adoption with his current placement provider.
