Pots and Pans Set for Sierra to work on her cooking skills

Eileen & Callie's PlaceSierra has a high level of emotional intelligence. She loves baking, arts and crafts and making new connections . She has been in multiple toxic placements but a few good ones since she was nine. She received a keyboard piano last year while she was in care and has been learning how to play. She says being in care has been a struggle and her hero at the same time. Her wish is for a tablet so she can learn to play better, possibly become an expert, but also use the tablet for other things in school.
Sierra she has been working on learning how to cook and she is requesting a new set of pots and pans to support her journey. Having proper cooking supplies would allow her to try new recipes, host friends for meals, and build skills that foster both joy and a sense of community. For Sierra, cooking is a meaningful way to express herself, and being able to create meals she can feel proud of would have a significant impact on her life.

"Sierra, when I was 18, my mom died suddenly and my dad was permanently disabled in a car accident. I had to move out and was completely on my own. I'm tell you this because I think asking for pots and pans is so SMART of you! Learning to cook is one of the best things you can do for yourself - it's cheaper, healthier, and you can impress all your friends when you invite them over! Seriously - I learned to cook via FoodNetwork and YouTube and I rarely go out to eat now b.c my food tastes better!"
