Amy is a young person who recently entered the foster care system after experiencing incredible hardship at the hands of her mother and family. They subjected her to various forms of abuse, even attempting to traffic her, which ultimately pushed her to run away. Tragically, during this difficult journey, she found herself pregnant, but sadly, her baby did not survive. Now, Amy is on a path to recovery, working through the trauma and loss she has endured. She's determined to find hope and happiness again. Despite everything she's been through, Amy has managed to keep her spirit alive; she shares a goofy side with her foster siblings and has formed a close bond with her roommate. With a fierce desire for a better future, Amy is focused on her education. She’s currently a senior in high school, having accumulated extra credits along the way. Despite all the challenges in her life, she remains a dedicated student, proving that she can rise above her circumstances and chase her dreams—especially her goal of attending university.
