Nina's journey through foster care took a positive turn when she was placed with her grandmother, who provided her with stability. However, recently, her grandmother's home was deemed unfit for her to stay in, and Nina was moved to a transitional living program. She is quiet and soft-spoken, but she is a joy to be around and brings a lot of fun to those she meets. Nina enjoys playing video games, drawing, and listening to music. She is also a very caring person who loves working with children.

Nina is a laid-back young woman who values comfort. After her recent sudden move, she finds herself lacking many clothing items. While she does own a pair of sneakers, she doesn't have slides or sandals that are easy to put on for quick errands around her apartment, like taking out the trash or walking to the corner store. Although Nina isn't a fashionista, she appreciates staple clothing pieces and accessories that provide her with comfort. She would like to get a pair of black Crocs that she can wear daily outside of her appointments, interviews, and life skills groups.
