Savanna was recently moved to a new foster home, which is far from her previous placement and away from her friends and family. She has been adjusting well to the transition, and her foster mother describes her as a joy to be around—caring and helpful. Savanna is excited to finally start at her new school, although she feels a little anxious and nervous about meeting all her new teachers and classmates. For Christmas, Savanna had hoped to receive new shoes, but her foster mother was unable to find the ones she wanted.
