After tackling the challenges of school, she envisions herself dribbling and taking shots, feeling the breeze against her skin as she loses herself in the game. This simple joy will be her sanctuary—a way to unwind and recharge on those tough days.
Kim is 15 years old and lives in NC
Kim entered foster care during the holidays, feeling scared and angry. This has been a challenging time for her, but she is beginning to settle in. She is nervous about starting a new school and adjusting to all the changes in her life. However, she feels safe in her new environment and loves her new bed. She also enjoys having plenty of food, watching movies, and spending time with her new dog.
