Francis loves her curls, but she also enjoys wearing braids and straightening her hair. When she entered foster care, she was unable to bring her flat iron with her, and now she finds herself itching to have straight hair again. She often sits in front of the TV, patiently parting her hair section by section to straighten it. Throughout the week, she loves changing up her hairstyle when it's straight, embracing her creativity and independence in doing her own hair. Receiving a flat iron for her birthday would make her incredibly happy and allow her to continue expressing herself through her hairstyles.
Francis is 15 years old and lives in PA
Francis is an ambitious young lady and a true go-getter. She loves the Earth and is dedicated to taking care of plants and animals. When she grows up, she wants to become a geologist. Francis and her sister entered foster care on Thanksgiving Day. Although it has been a challenging experience, she is thriving. She is doing well at her new school and has joined the softball team. Her favorite color is green, and her favorite food is sushi. She hopes to try out for cheerleading next year.
