Clothes for Amy to keep her warm this season

Posted Jan 2, 2025
Amy is new to foster care and arrived with very few clothes, leaving her unprepared for the cold weather in her location. She is in urgent need of warm jackets and pants, as she has never received proper clothing while living with her biological parents. Providing her with these essentials would not only meet her basic needs but also give her a new and supportive experience in her foster care journey. This request has been split into two wishes to allow for a successful shopping trip. This is wish 1 of 2.

Amy is 16 years old and lives in CA

Amy is a young person who recently entered the foster care system after experiencing incredible hardship at the hands of her parents. Now, Amy is on a path to recovery, working through the trauma and loss she has endured. She's determined to find hope and happiness again. Despite everything she's been through, Amy has managed to keep her spirit alive; she shares a goofy side with her foster siblings and has formed a close bond with her roommate. With a fierce desire for a better future, Amy is focused on her education. Despite all the challenges in her life, she remains a dedicated student, proving that she can rise above her circumstances and chase her dreams—especially her goal of attending university.
