A tablet for Lea so she can keep in touch with sisters she is separated from
Posted Jan 6, 2025
Lea has been asking for an iPad for over a year now, and it would truly mean the world to her. With it, she could indulge in reading, play her favorite games, and FaceTime her younger sisters—one who lives all the way in California and the other in a nearby placement. Additionally, it would allow her to keep in touch with her mom and her two baby brothers in Michigan, creating a vital connection with her family who aren't physically present in her life.
Having an iPad would not only bridge the distance but also provide Lea with valuable opportunities to enhance her reading skills, which she finds challenging. Engaging with interactive reading apps could make the learning process more enjoyable and effective for her. By using the iPad, she would not only strengthen her bonds with loved ones but also foster her personal growth and development in a fun and engaging way. This device would be a tool for both connection and learning, helping Lea feel more supported and integrated into her family's lives.
