Jaylyn is a single mother of two daughters. After spending ten years in the foster care system without parents, family, or natural support, she aged out at 18. Throughout her youth, Jaylyn moved from one foster home to another and stayed in various shelters across the state. She was separated from her two younger siblings and has never lived with them. Despite these challenges, Jaylyn has strived to be a role model for her siblings. After turning 18, she worked hard to find her own apartment and utilized available resources to help her get established. Jaylyn has taken on small jobs and is now focused on completing her GED online, showing her children that it is possible to achieve success. She loves spending time with her daughters, who are still young, and is dedicated to creating a better future for them.
