An iPad for Carla to imagine and escape into her reading

Posted Jan 8, 2025
Carla, a vibrant and imaginative individual, has been eagerly asking her caregiver for an iPad, envisioning how it would enhance her daily life. Unfortunately, she has yet to receive one. Despite this, she stays connected with her brothers and friends through her trusty cell phone, which she uses to exchange messages and maintain those important relationships. Carla has a profound love for reading, often losing herself in the pages of a book. An iPad would not only allow her to communicate more easily but also open a world of literary adventures through the Libby app, where she could explore an endless array of ebooks and audiobooks from the library. Each story she discovers offers her a chance to escape into new realms and imagine a life filled with possibilities. Additionally, Carla has expressed a keen interest in organizing her time and staying informed about the world around her. With her own calendar, she could keep track of her appointments and plans, ensuring she never misses a moment. Keeping up with current events is also important to her, as it helps her feel connected to the larger community. The iPad would enrich Carla’s life, providing her with tools for communication, creativity, and knowledge.
