Luna had to leave most of her personal belongings behind when she was placed in foster care, which made the transition even more difficult. The climate where her new foster home is located is significantly different from what she’s accustomed to, meaning even the clothes she was able to bring, are not warm enough for her new home. To add to her challenges, Luna won’t be eligible for another clothing stipend until late summer, leaving her in a tough spot as she tries to adapt to her new environment.
