Katie's 2025 has started off on a challenging note. After facing issues with her housing voucher, she returned home from work last week to find her apartment burglarized. Among the stolen items was the TV she had just purchased over the summer, which she relied on to enjoy her favorite movies. With the ongoing housing voucher problems and her limited income, Katie cannot afford to replace the TV at this time. Funding this wish would significantly help her recover from this setback and replace what was taken from her.

Katie is a persistent young woman who, despite all odds, has started to get her life on track. Just a few years ago, the idea of living in her own apartment and working a full-time position as a paraprofessional would have been unfathomable. Katie's next goal is to return to school with the long-term goal of working with kids in the childcare space. In her spare time, Katie is an avid movie watcher and doting cat mother.
