Aiden utilizes a medicine ball during his Occupational Therapy sessions at school to enhance his focus and attention. His foster family wishes to provide him with the same coping tool at home. Engaging with a medicine ball not only supports Aiden's ability to concentrate but also fosters the development of important cognitive skills, including problem-solving, sensory processing, coordination, and decision-making. By having access to this tool at home, Aiden can continue building these skills in a familiar environment.
Aiden is 12 years old and lives in ME
Aiden is a young man with a passion for LEGOS, cooking, and exploring the outdoors. He enjoys discovering his new community, but he often finds large crowds overwhelming, preferring one-on-one interactions with his peers. Recently, he joined the Scouts, where he is enthusiastically learning wilderness first aid, an activity that resonates with his love for nature. Additionally, Aiden has taken a step towards fitness by joining the local gym and is currently searching for a dojo that offers small group classes, where he can begin his journey in Karate. Through these activities, Aiden is cultivating his interests while finding ways to connect with others in a comfortable environment.
