Anaya is a creative young lady and the oldest of three siblings. She enjoys playing the game Sims and is passionate about photography, painting, decorating, and baking. As the eldest sibling, she often takes on responsibilities to support her younger siblings, and since their mother’s passing, she has assumed an even larger role in assisting with their care while living in kinship care.

Anaya’s family recently went through a really tough time when they lost their home to a fire, and sadly, they also lost her mother in the process. Now, she’s living with her siblings in kinship care, facing a whole new set of challenges. But despite all the heartache, Anaya has found a wonderful escape in running. It’s become her special way of coping and finding a little bit of joy amidst the sadness. As she gets ready for gym class and looks forward to track season, Anaya is on the hunt for some new shoes to help her pursue her passion. Each run not only helps her sharpen her athletic skills but also brings her some healing as she navigates this difficult chapter.
