Daniel is currently staying with a friend in their guest room but must move out by Monday, January 20th. This is because his friend needs to provide the room to a relative and niece who recently lost their home in the Eaton Fire. Daniel is working hard to secure permanent housing through a subsidized housing program. In the meantime, he will be sofa surfing for the next two weeks while we finalize his placement. A DoorDash gift card would help cover meals for Daniel during this period, as he will have limited access to a kitchen and will be unable to prepare his own meals.

Daniel is a transition-age foster youth who is passionate about his art, music, and community. He started his music career at 18 and has worked hard to produce mixtapes and songs that reflect his deep emotions and experiences, often drawing on his time in foster care for inspiration. Daniel is currently learning coding and dreams of starting his own business to support other foster youth in need.
