Sambhav, affectionately known as Sam, is a sociable and engaging young man on the cusp of an exciting career in nursing. He is actively seeking his first job in a hospital and contemplating the pursuit of his BSN. Sam's journey to this point has been far from straightforward; he grew up in foster care and faced the challenges of navigating high school as a multilingual student. Learning English as his second language made it difficult for him to connect with peers at first, but as he progressed, he flourished, sharing his intellect and curiosity with those around him. Raised in the vibrant SF Bay Area, Sam made the significant decision to move to Wisconsin with his partner to embark on their nursing school journey together. Before discovering his passion for nursing, he explored the field of Computer Information Systems while attending UC Santa Cruz. With limited guidance from family, it took him some extra time to find his true calling. Beyond his academic pursuits, Sam enjoys good food, going for walks, and engaging in meaningful discussions about life. He is particularly passionate about finding creative and innovative ways to navigate life’s challenges, even experimenting with making his own laundry detergent. A genuinely sweet and caring individual, Sam loves sharing knowledge with others and is excited to take the next steps in his journey.
