Organizer for Malachi to have space to store his toys

Malachi, 11 years old

Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption Association

Malachi is a happy and friendly young boy in foster care. He loves playing with vehicles, especially big ones like semi-trucks. He enjoys racing his cars and using them in pretend play. Malachi has a great sense of humor and likes to tell jokes. He often checks out joke books from the library to share with his siblings when he returns home. He enjoys making people happy and has a big smile and a laugh that spreads joy. Malachi is good at talking to others and encourages his shy siblings to join in. He is kind and caring and loves to lead in different activities.

Malachi recently celebrated his birthday, and thanks to the kindness of others, he now has several new toys to play with. Since moving to his new foster home, he hasn’t had a proper place to store his things, so everything is kind of scattered everywhere. He’s been working on getting more organized and learning to take pride in his space. When he first entered foster care, he didn’t have a lot of the basic skills to understand why it’s important to clean up and put his things away. But now that he’s had more structure and guidance, he’s really improving at taking care of his belongings. Malachi would enjoy having some dedicated storage for his toys, keeping his room neat and tidy.
