Francine is currently focused on completing her high school education online. Over the past year, she has moved several times into independent living programs, making traditional high school very challenging for her. These frequent relocations have caused her to lose many friends and placed her far from her siblings, adding to her stress. She would love to have a laptop to stay connected through social media. Francine also wishes for a laptop that would allow her to work at a faster pace from home. Currently, she relies on the Resource Center to complete her assignments, but access to computers there is limited, especially as she also balances a part-time job. Having her own laptop would enable Francine to study more efficiently, helping her graduate sooner and paving the way for college. Ultimately, her goal is to live independently near her siblings, support herself, and perhaps one day give back to others in need.
