She is also having to pay expenses related to her education and has been struggling. She would like to arrive at her new place with luggage instead of cardboard boxes or plastic bags. Please consider helping Zakaya move into a new place and feel dignified.

Having spent many years in foster care, she has now secured an apartment she can truly call home. In addition to her studies, Zakaya works as a paraprofessional for the city, where she assists students with disabilities. Known for her determined spirit, once Zakaya sets her mind on something, there's no stopping her. She is incredibly compassionate and always goes the extra mile to help others in need. Zakaya is also a strong advocate for individuals who have experienced the foster care system.
