Eli is a young, soon-to-be father in foster care. He was adopted once and then returned to the state, where he has been moved from foster home to foster home. He recently was able to rent his own apartment through his hard work and dedication to his drive for independence. He has had a lot of traumas when it comes to being in foster care but has overcome everything he has been through. Eli has asked to remain in care so he will have assistance with his education and employment journey. Eli excelled in high school and graduated in 2024. He likes to work in construction and works seasonally with a crew in the town where he lives. He wants to work on a business degree and someday start his own building company. Eli's interests have always been basketball and chess. He believes they each complement the other as strategy is what fuels them. When he isn't working, he can be found at the community center playing ball with other youth.
