A bike for William to find adventure outside
William, 8 years old
Wish submitted by:
Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption AssociationWilliam is a creative and adventurous boy who has a vivid imagination. He enjoys building intricate Lego structures and exploring the outdoors, whether it's climbing trees or playing games with friends. William also spends time on the family farm, caring for animals and learning about farm life. His daily activities are filled with creativity, fun, and a strong connection to nature. Currently, William and his sister are living with their grandfather after some challenging circumstances. Though the situation has been a big adjustment for everyone, they are working together to make it work. William deeply loves and appreciates his grandfather, recognizing that, despite the reasons for their new living arrangement, he is grateful to have him around to guide him as he grows up.
William had a bike before entering foster care, which he was unable to bring with him when he moved. He enjoyed riding around and exploring, but after his transition, he really misses those adventures. Having a new bike is perfect for him, as he absolutely loves the members of Nitro Circus and often imagines being a part of their exciting shows. With this bike, he’ll have the opportunity to practice tricks, take long rides, race his friends, and truly enjoy the freedom that comes with biking. Granting this wish would give William back a piece of himself that he had to leave behind when he entered the system, allowing him to reconnect with his passions and embrace new adventures.
