Aaliyah has been decorating her room to get more settled into the home now that she knows that she is going to be adopted by her foster parents. She has been asking for a fun lamp that changes colors because her room does not get much natural light. She feels like a new light will make a huge difference in the way her room looks. Aaliyah has also talked with her foster parents about this lamp since she was placed in the home and feels like it will fit perfectly in her new space.

Aaliyah has always had a very big personality and loves to make people laugh. She enjoys drinking coffee and taking naps. Aaliyah owns a pet gecko and loves to carry him around the foster home. One of Aaliyah's biggest strengths is how loyal she is to those she cares about. She has been in and out of foster care for almost two years and is hoping to find permanency with her current foster placement.
