Selene absolutely loves playing with her Nugget at home every day. It has become an essential part of her playtime routine. The boundless creativity and adventure it allows her to create is magical. The various new ways she will be able to play with the Nugget Chunk will not only allow her to expand her Nugget buildings for fun but will also provide her with more “fun” challenges and obstacles to work to overcome - which will help her with the physical skills that she is working on in physical therapy. The ability to be able to play while also working on fine and gross motor skills is truly remarkable! Selene would love this new Nugget Chunk to add to her toy room.
Selene is 4 years old and lives in OH
Selene was born prematurely at just 26 weeks and faced extreme medical complications during her first six months in the hospital. When she finally came home with her foster parents, they dedicated themselves to learning the essential medical care she required. After nearly two years of nurturing and support, they were able to adopt her. Selene is now thriving despite a range of ongoing medical needs, including a feeding tube, a colostomy bag, and a diagnosis of cerebral palsy. Her journey has been challenging, but her loving family continues to provide her with the care and support she deserves.
