This Valentine’s Day, Diamond could really use a heartfelt reminder of how much they’re loved! This gift lets them pick a special treat just for themselves, ensuring they feel cherished on a day that’s all about spreading love.
Diamond is 27 years old and lives in CA
Diamond spent years moving from place to place in foster care, craving safety and belonging. At 18 years old, when she aged out of the system, she became instantly homeless and spent five years transferring from shelter to shelter. She moved into her first affordable housing placement in 2020, and with her newfound safety and space, she discovered her passion for candle-making. That same year, she launched her own candle business called TheElevenShop and started selling her candles online. Diamond was one of the first-ever vendors at the Foster Youth Flea Market, where she sold out that same day! Her business gives a percentage back to other youth in the foster care system, and she dreams of one day owning her own transitional housing program for foster youth.
