A bedwetting alert system for Nick who is still working on potty training

Posted Feb 5, 2025
Nick has faced numerous placement changes that have led to delays in his potty training. However, his current caregivers have been incredibly positive and supportive, allowing him to make significant progress. Despite this, he still struggles with nighttime bedwetting, which appears to be the final hurdle in helping him overcome his early trauma. To address this challenge, his caregivers have requested a wireless bedwetting sensor. This tool will enable them to quickly identify when bedwetting occurs, allowing them to respond promptly and help Nick avoid messy incidents that could impact his self-esteem. Providing this essential gift will greatly assist Nick and his caregivers in navigating this issue while fostering his confidence and pride in the progress he is making.

Nick is 6 years old and lives in NJ

Nick is a sweet boy who has spent most of his young life in the foster care system. He was removed from his family when he was just a year and a half old and has been in the system for several years, moving through six different homes. Thankfully, Nick is now in a stable and loving environment with a relative, and he is beginning to heal from the trauma he has experienced. The many placement changes in his early childhood disrupted his development, which led to struggles in school for a long time. However, with the educational supports in place, he is now doing much better academically. Nick has developed a passion for arts and crafts, particularly drawing and painting. He is also fascinated by monster trucks and enjoys racing remote control cars.
