In the foster home where Summer lives, her foster mom has a hard time keeping Summer's bedroom tidy because of her mobility issues. This means there's often trash under Summer's low bed, where she likes to stash things away. To help, Summer really wants a low loft bed. It would give her more space and a special spot for her schoolbooks, helping her keep her room clean. Plus, her current bed frame is falling apart and has scratched her, so a new bed is important too!
