Rimy has always embraced her identity as a Black woman and is fully engaged in celebrating Black History Month. This year, she is hosting a panel discussion on Black history and child welfare, where she will share her experiences in foster care and explore ways the community can support one another in embracing rest during this time. To enhance her reflections and reconnect with her culture, Rimy hopes to acquire a copy of the book "Rest is Resistance," as she believes it will provide valuable insights and inspiration for her journey.
