Gabriel has faced significant challenges in his life, including being in and out of placements after the loss of his father and the long absence of his mother. He endured years of abuse but eventually found the courage to speak out and seek help. Gabriel is an extraordinary and resilient young man who is now thriving and excels in school. He is smart, funny, and talented. As a three-sport varsity athlete, he participates in wrestling, lacrosse, and cross country. Gabriel enjoys building models of all kinds and loves to tinker with various objects to understand how they work. He is a member of the Naval NJROTC program and plans to join the military after graduating from high school. With a keen interest in engineering, he is considering taking college courses while still in high school.
