Maria relies on public transportation for doctor appointments. Grocery stores and laundry facilities are within walking distance, but she needs to cross busy streets that intersect with bus and trolley routes, making it a hectic area. Currently, she has a single stroller for her 1-year-old son, but her 3-year-old has a tendency to run off. Maria is requesting a double stroller to help her safely walk to the grocery store and laundry facilities. This will also make it easier for her to reach doctor appointments.
