Xandrea puts her all into both school and her activities. At just 15, she started taking college classes, showing how much she cares about learning. She volunteers in her community and helps out in the high school band, playing different instruments when needed. As a Senior Patrol Leader in Cub Scouts, she has also shown her leadership and earned the Order of the Arrow award. When she was in the 8th grade, Xandrea worked hard baking treats to raise money for the Washington Workshop, teaming up with local businesses to reach her goal. She dreams of becoming a JAG for the U.S. military. Xandrea lives in tough conditions, resulting in extreme poverty. Her mom works from home, and her dad is unemployed due to a back injury and doesn't qualify for disability. Despite dealing with anxiety and depression, she finds comfort in art and crafts. Painting, drawing, and building help her feel better. Overall, Xandrea is kind, hardworking, and always ready to lend a hand to those around her.
