An Eid themed play kit for Ali to celebrate Ramadan

Posted Feb 28, 2025
Ali has been adjusting to foster care and missing his family and community, who used to help him practice his religion. His new foster family believes in a different faith, but they are really interested in learning about Ali's customs. Ali loves teaching them about Islam and the upcoming holiday of Ramadan. To make it even more fun, he wishes for a special Eid playbox from Dough Parlour! This kit has different types of dough, slimes, and putties that help him express his feelings through play. There are fun Ramadan-themed doughs called "Scoops" with scents like Dates, Pomegranates, Kunafa Cream, Fig, and Pistachio. It also includes cute dough cutters shaped like a mosque, a crescent moon, and a star. Ali is excited to play and create new things while sharing the joy of Ramadan and Eid with his foster family!

Ali is 5 years old and lives in OH

Ali is a sweet child who has maintained a very positive attitude while in foster care. He has been fortunate to remain connected with his siblings, who are placed in the same foster home. Ali enjoys all the typical interests of a young boy, particularly Pokemon and Bluey. He is excited to share his family's religion and cultural practices with his foster family, as this helps him stay connected to his faith during his time in foster care.
