Heaven has been struggling with housing insecurity and has faced challenges in finding stable housing for an extended period. However, she is excited to share that she finally connected with a long-term shelter and will be moving in right away. After months of battling homelessness, she feels more at ease and is eager to start looking for a job soon. To help her succeed in this new chapter, Heaven could really use a trip to Target to purchase essential items for her new space. She has very few belongings, so this support would mean a lot to her as she sets up her room and creates a sense of home once again. This wish has been split up so that Heaven can get the supplies that she needs. This is wish 1 of 2.
Heaven is 20 years old and lives in CA
Heaven is a resilient young woman deeply involved in Foster Nation's Sparks community. She values education above all else, aspiring to attend medical or law school to secure a fulfilling and sustainable career. As she works diligently to acquire valuable life skills for her future, Heaven also finds joy in sports, having played volleyball since middle school. Her determination and passion for learning shape her journey forward.

"Hi Heaven, It is so hard to get started out on your own in this world. I am so happy for you that you have housing now and hope that you find a job soon! Don't be discouraged if it takes time. It's tough out there, but the right thing will come along. My best advice is save when you can and pretend that money does not exist. If you do direct deposit you can set a certain amount to go into a savings account from each check. Even $5 a check adds up. Good luck in all your endeavors. Take care!"
