Sarayah has recently reentered care, determined to succeed for herself and her two-year-old daughter. She is in school while balancing work and taking care of her daughter, whom she loves and adores more than anything. One day, she hopes to own a home and become a nurse. She is an incredible advocate for herself, setting goals and persevering until she achieves them. Through her own advocacy, she was accepted into an independent living housing program, which has provided significant relief as she continues to focus on being the best mom, student, and employee she can be.

Sarayah reentered care in October, as she was struggling to manage housing, school, a job, and finding daycare without adult support. She has now been accepted into an independent living program with her daughter, and she has hopes of using this program as an opportunity to save and invest in permanent housing for her and her daughter. For now, she is just grateful to finally have a place to call home, and she could use a few items to support her and her daughter as they get comfortable in the new place. One of the things she’s hoping to get is a TV. It would be a valuable resource for both Sarayah and her daughter, giving them a chance to unwind and relax after their busy days. The TV would also provide an opportunity for educational programs for her daughter as she continues to learn and grow.
