Derrik is currently in foster care and, due to limited family resources, needs support to purchase items for extracurricular activities. He is excited to join the high school baseball team for the first time! Derrik enjoys sports and is eager to be a part of this team. To prepare for practices and games, he needs some gear. Having his own bat would allow him to practice on his own time and get extra batting practice at the batting cages.

Derrik is a polite and well-mannered young man currently in foster care. He is very intelligent and performing well in school, with his favorite subject being agricultural studies. His interest in agriculture has led him to become a member of the Future Farmers of America (FFA), where he enjoys attending club conferences to learn alongside his classmates. Additionally, Derrik is athletic and plays on the baseball team, where he is dedicated to becoming a valuable player. He plans to attend welding school with the goal of becoming a welder one day.
