Derrik is a polite and well-mannered young man currently in foster care. He is very intelligent and performing well in school, with his favorite subject being agricultural studies. His interest in agriculture has led him to become a member of the Future Farmers of America (FFA), where he enjoys attending club conferences to learn alongside his classmates. Additionally, Derrik is athletic and plays on the baseball team, where he is dedicated to becoming a valuable player. He plans to attend welding school with the goal of becoming a welder one day.
