Nathan faces significant cognitive and developmental delays, but he remains determined not to let that discourage him. He is motivated to do his very best in everything he undertakes. One of his goals is to learn how to ride a bike. However, being a bigger boy, traditional training wheels are not sufficient for him. This has made him feel extremely scared and discouraged. His occupational therapist recommended a specific bike for several reasons, the most important being the wider and thicker training wheels, which will help him maintain better balance.
