Next month, Owen will begin his first season of t-ball. He already thinks of himself as a pro as he practices in the yard with his family, using his left hand for throwing and his right hand for batting. For a 4-year-old, he actually has a pretty strong arm! To feel more like a professional, Owen would love to hit the field for his first practice in a new pair of baseball cleats. This is such a special milestone for him. After working so hard to overcome various medical issues, it’s amazing to see how far he has come.

Owen is a remarkably resilient little boy who began his life in a hospital and spent time in foster care before being adopted. He is truly an incredible child! Owen loves life and everyone he meets. He is always eager to hug a stranger, and his laughter is so infectious that it brings a smile to anyone's face. Despite having faced some medical challenges, he never lets them hinder his happiness. His smile is simply contagious!
