Karrie can't help but feel thrilled about her upcoming prom next month. She’s already invested in a stunning gown, some stylish shoes, and the perfect accessories to complete her look. Now, all that’s left is to buy her prom ticket. As someone who takes her studies seriously and has plans to head off to college in the fall, she’s trying to balance her excitement for the big night with the realities of budgeting for it. It’s a bit of a juggling act, but she’s determined to make it all work. Granting this wish for a prom ticket would truly be helpful and appreciated!
Karrie is 18 years old and lives in DC
Karrie is a self-taught gymnast and a quick learner. Although she has never taken a class, she excels in gymnastics. Her dream is to become a gymnast and compete in the Olympics, and she greatly admires Gabby Douglas. Karrie is also talented at drawing; she enjoys creating pictures and cards for special occasions. She has been in the foster care system with her two sisters since she was three months old. Karrie is the middle child of five, and sometimes being the middle child can be challenging.
