Matthew's grandpa recently lost his job, which has put a strain on their family. As a result, Matthew is dealing with a lot of challenges at school. He has ADHD, which makes focusing difficult, and on top of that, his shoes have holes in them. Unfortunately, this has led to other kids making fun of him because of his appearance. If he could get a new pair of shoes, it would not only boost his confidence but also help him fit in better with his classmates, bringing him some much-needed happiness during a tough time.
