Cap and gown for Rachel who achieved her educational dream

Rachel has overcome significant challenges to become one of the few foster care alumni to graduate from a four-year university and nearly complete her graduate degree. Achieving her degree in social work is a lifelong dream for Rachel, and she plans to use it to support her community. Currently, Rachel works part-time and financially supports her younger siblings, which leaves her with little budget for a graduation gown. Granting this wish would greatly help her celebrate this major milestone. Rachel is also excited to give back to her community when she has the opportunity.

Rachel is an amazing person who has been through a lot in life. When Rachel was just 15 years old, she was placed in foster care. She went through a lot of challenges during those years, but she never let them break her spirit. Instead, she worked hard and persevered through it all. Eventually, Rachel aged out of the system when she turned 18, but that didn't stop her from pursuing her dreams. She worked really hard and was able to enroll in college, which was a dream come true for her. Rachel also has two siblings who were also in foster care, and the three of them are each other's support system. Despite not having any other family around, Rachel remains positive and focused on her goals. She works diligently in school and at her job, and she's also a great saver.
