Kiani has been going through a challenging time recently, which has taken a toll on her emotional well-being. She has been struggling to sleep and often feels anxious during the day. To help cope with these feelings, she started using a free trial of the Headspace app, which has been beneficial in distracting her from her thoughts and aiding her sleep. Kiani found this app to be quite helpful and would like to continue using it to manage her anxiety. Therefore, she would greatly appreciate a full year’s subscription to the Headspace app.
Kiani is 17 years old and lives in NJ
Kiani has been in and out of foster care since she was five years old, and she is now aging out of the system. She is resilient, kind, and caring towards others. Currently, she is in care with her baby sister but is planning to transition into an independent living program. Kiani has experienced significant trauma, which she is actively addressing through weekly therapy sessions. She is enrolled in a GED program and is actively seeking a job. In the future, she hopes to obtain her cosmetology license.
