Khalil needs a new pair of sneakers to wear to school because his current sneakers are old and too tight for his feet. Having new sneakers will help him walk more comfortably around school. Unfortunately, his mother is unemployed and can't afford to buy him a new pair.
Khalil is 7 years old and lives in NJ
Khalil is a brilliant young boy who loves to help his peers. His favorite subject in school is reading. He also enjoys riding his bike around the complex and playing video games. Khalil's mom doesn't work, and his family is being supported by the Trenton Housing Authority.
