Due to her experiences in multiple caregivers' homes, Bella has developed some negative coping mechanisms, such as yelling or screaming when she is upset or told "no." Her foster mother is working with Bella to teach her positive coping strategies, and Bella has started going outside to cool off when she feels overwhelmed. Because of her traumatic history, she often wakes up in the middle of the night and seeks comfort by bothering other children in the home. Bella will be receiving medication soon to help her sleep through the night. In the meantime, she would really appreciate having a stuffed animal to help her feel more secure and stay asleep.

Karbella, known as Bella, has experienced a series of caregivers throughout her life. She has rarely lived with her biological parents and has a total of 13 siblings. Bella is an outgoing child with a strong sense of what she wants, often employing tactics like lying or stealing to achieve her goals. She enjoys playing with baby dolls and is eager to interact with the other children in the foster home. Bella loves to assist the foster mother in cooking and enjoys learning how to make new desserts.
