Taylor is truly thriving in her foster home. She shares a wonderful bond with the younger child with special needs who lives there, and she gets along well with everyone around her. Like many children in foster care, Taylor has faced significant challenges, but her resilience and strength are inspiring. For the first time in her life, she is in a place where she feels genuinely loved, supported, and encouraged to be herself. Before entering the foster care system, Taylor took on a lot of responsibility, caring for her elderly grandmother while attending school virtually. Transitioning into foster care and returning to in-person learning has been a significant change for her, but Taylor has handled it with courage and grace. Although she experiences some difficulty with math, she is doing incredibly well overall and continues to push forward with determination.
